About PrintReady3D
Last updated: October 9, 2026
PrintReady3D (printready3d.com) is a browser-based AI 3D model generator for 3D printing. You upload a photo or describe an object; AI produces a 3D model you can check in the browser and download as STL, 3MF or GLB, ready for your slicer. Alongside the generator we run free tools — file converters, STL and 3MF repair, a 3D viewer, a lithophane maker and print cost calculators — that need no account.
How it works
- Describe it or upload a photo. Type what you want, or add a picture of the object.
- Check the concept. For a text description, AI first draws a concept image so you can confirm the look; this step is free. For a photo, you choose the original or an AI-optimised version.
- Get the 3D model. The model is generated in a few minutes. Rotate it, see the printability checks, and download it scaled for printing.
New accounts get free starter credits. A 3D model costs 20 credits; prices for credit packs and plans are on the pricing page and again before checkout.
AI-generated content notice
Every concept image and 3D model PrintReady3D makes is machine-generated by AI models. Concept images and image optimisation are made with Google Nano Banana 2 (Gemini); 3D models are made with Tripo3D v2.5, and multi-view photo sets with Tripo 3D v3.1. The terms list every AI model and provider we use, including fallbacks and content-safety checks, and we update that list before any change goes live.
AI output can be inaccurate or unoriginal, and a generated model may need repair, scaling or supports before it prints well. Review every model before you print or sell it.
What it is not
- Not a printing service. Everything we sell is digital. We do not print, manufacture or ship physical objects.
- Not affiliated with the model makers. PrintReady3D is an independent product built on third-party AI models; it is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by Google, Tripo or any other company named here.
- Not for content that breaks the rules. The Acceptable Use Policy explains what is refused and how to report a model.
Your data
We store your prompts, uploads and the models you generate, and the privacy policy has the details. We do not use your prompts, uploads or models to train AI models.
